Shipping Info / Charges Shipping charges for Shopping Cart / Checkout orders placed online are automatically calculated and based on weight of items ordered.

We ship USPS because it allows shipping everywhere, (internationally, P.O. boxes, etc..). We use priority mail domestically and the average arrival time is 2-3 days after shipping from our warehouse. Rural area shipping may take a few days longer. A processing and packing material charge of $1.50 is added to the shipping charge.

Domestic US shipping is calculated by actual order weight up to the maximum cost of a priority medium flat rate shipping box (a/o January 2012). To encourage larger orders, shipping costs do not exceed this amount.

For international orders we ship by US air mail or international priority depending on which of the two are cheapest -- allow 15-20 business days for delivery assuming no custom issues (we fill out the custom forms here and globally ship our items as "gifts"). The customer is responsible for all local duties and taxes where applicable and items getting through customs in their country. If you have specific delivery requirements not covered in these guidelines, please contact our customer service before placing an order.

IMPORTANT! All our fragile tea ware has shipping insurance already calculated into the price domestically so items can be reimbursed or replaced if breakage occurs. Although we ship tea and tea ware successfully overseas insurance is not always available internationally so we do not guarantee the condition of fragile tea ware items shipped overseas.

Tea Packaging
To preserve freshness our loose and powdered teas are now delivered in specially designed HEAT SEALED foil packs for tea. They have zip locks for resealing after you open them and are designed to lay flat or stand up vertically.


Refunds/Replacements

Refunds and replacement requests can be made within 14 days of receipt of item.

Please report any goods you receive damaged to us immediately upon delivery via e-mail to begin the process of replacement or refund. Teas can typically be replaced immediately unless we are out of stock. Damaged tea ware may need to go through a shipping insurance claims process. Some unique tea ware products may not be replaceable and will require refund.

Tea: If you are not satisfied with any of the teas please return them in original condition (e.g. opened tea in original packaging) for a refund or replacement.

Tea ware: We suggest you examine any tea ware items you may be interested in online and call or email us with questions before purchasing. Because they are fragile, shipping tea ware items back and forth after receiving them should be minimized -- so we encourage questions prior to shipping. We typically only accept tea ware returned if it is damaged. Please use shipping insurance for any undamaged tea ware items (cups, pots) that you send back.

If goods become out of stock after an order is placed, we will refund goods or offer an alternative product. You also have the option of accepting a later delivery.

Data Protection
No information will be given to or collected by a third party. Information is only collected for purchased orders, registration and email inquiries. This information is used confidentially by us to enhance future service. For more information See our Privacy Protection Guidelines.

Applicable Law and Courts of Jurisdiction
Any greentealovers.com purchases or services are governed by New York State Law and deemed to have occurred in the United States.

Retention of Title
All goods remain the property of Greentealovers until paid for in full. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

The placement of an order constitutes an agreement with the Terms and Conditions as displayed.
